If your pool is 16' in diameter of smaller, you would need this set(2 converters) to adapte to the larger 1.5" ID hose with threaded connection to your 1.25" ID hose connection. Please verified the compatibility of these hose adapters to your pool set, if you do not have an Intex pool set. ***** Not recommended for Intex 4000gph pool filter pump(this is was never designed for pool set w/ less than 52" height sidewall), due to the much higher flow-rate. ****
